Nationwide Dealers Services (NDS) was founded as an insurance agency by Don Trinen
in 1969. While providing credit insurance to automobile dealers Mr. Trinen
then introduced the concept of vehicle service contracts as the second agency
in the country to do so. In 1979 NDS expanded its operation to Wyoming, New
Mexico in 1980, Nebraska and Texas in 1981, South Dakota in 1982 and Utah in
1986.
In 1992 NDS introduced the first remote starter interrupt preload program to
the Rocky Mountain area. Shortly thereafter NDS expanded into the mobile security
and sound system business. Today NDS is doing the same thing that it was at
its inception-helping automobile dealers maximize profits after the sale of
the vehicle. Our goal remains the same…to be the best provider of the most
complete and secure automotive aftermarket product lines today and in the
future.
